The National Gingerbread House Competition & Display November 15, 2006 - January 7, 2007 Last year we had 290 gingerbread masterpieces from across the country. Delight in the imagination shown in these sugar-and-spice creations — strolling through the competition is a sure way to be swept up in the holiday spirit. The houses will be on display from Nov. 15, 2006 - Jan. 7, 2007. Public viewing times are Sunday - Thursday 2-6pm.
What makes this competition so irresistible is the whimsy and ingenuity displayed in the entries. An ingenuity inspired in part by the contest rules: Every component of the houses must be edible! Prizes: Thousands in cash and prizes will be given away and all contestants receive a personalized certificate featuring an image of their entry. Entry Information: Entry forms must be received by Wednesday November 8. Entries must be delivered to the Heritage Ballroom between 9 am - 5:30 pm on Monday November 13, 2006.
